Jamie Oliver’s 5 Ingredients 📖
First off, it’s worth mentioning that I had no idea how many Jamie Oliver cookbooks we owned until I decided to get them all out for this (there are also more that didn’t make the cut!)
Jamie Oliver has published 23 cookbooks in his career to date and when it first came out in 2017, 5 Ingredients was marketed as his ‘most straightforward cookbook’ yet.
This is something I’d definitely agree with as I love the book’s concept of focusing on choosing just five high-quality ingredients for each of the recipes, to put the emphasis back on the flavour of each individual component of a dish, with the added bonus of saving on heavy shopping trips looking for long lists of fancy ingredients! I also really enjoyed the tv show he did to accompany the book which I got slightly obsessed with during lockdown.
