🧔 📖 For the past week, I fell in a bit of a reading slump. Distracted by good weather and busy with a lot of things, I found it hard to concentrate and even abandoned one of the books I already started.
This is where I decided I need a pallet cleanser – something accessible, widely available page-turner. So it happens to be The Silent Patient. And generally, I’m quite impressed so far – about a third of a book gone in a single sitting, the story seems to flow very well, no time wasted on unnecessary details and premisses are rather intriguing. I’m not expecting this book to change my view of the world, but so far, I would totally recommend it.
